Co-founder

Core Values

A core value is something I won’t budge on regardless of the amount of money on the table. The foundation of this company rests on these and they will lead us through the darkest and brightest of moments and we will be stronger and richer for them.  Any co-founder who joins must hold these values deeply and may at their discretion choose one more value to bring on board.

Peace
Freedom
Fun

If these resonate with your core values and you want to be part of a startup, here is what I am looking for:

Technical Lead / Co-founder ~ a multi-talented web developer who can make infrastructure choices and work with me to build our product and our company.  A desire to lead, a willingness to take risks, and be patient is necessary.  Depending on where your strengths lay, the cash you invest, and the network of help you bring with you, we will negotiate a share of the company.

Current technology stream includes Java, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL, Tomcat.  I don’t care how much experience you have, so long as you are determined to succeed.  I have built a sign-in page and am slowly building the first set of pages.  I know what I’m doing, but I need help getting addicted to coding.

If you work well remotely, I am interested.  If you are willing to move to beautiful Victoria, BC that would be even better.

I look forward to hearing from you, especially if you have questions!

The following is a hiring chart I made months ago. It is already a company joke, and only I think it is funny. The idea was, this is what the team might look like as we approach beta completion.  I am encouraging a culture of story telling.  We are starting an adventure and we want it to grow into an epic.  Thus the round table org chart and fun titles.  A sense of humor is also a requirement for any applicants.  I’m serious about peace, but I want to have fun getting there. :-)
