Of a blog, yes. But of the story no.
Ideas have been sprouting in my head for years. I started to pay attention when they began to click together like puzzle pieces. Since then database designs have formed. Marketing plans have formed. Artistic branding requirements are forming. I’ve never been so excited in my life. I’ve enlisted a friend to help me build the prototype. Now I’m working on naming, branding, and figuring out the best timing for me to incorporate, so that I don’t violate the terms for collecting employment insurance and I maximize the tax advantages.
Also, I am currently looking for part time work if anyone needs a J2EE, SQL developer, database designer, or visionary helper I am available up to 20 hours a week for a negotiated contract in Victoria BC. I’m not currently looking to relocate, but would consider any offer and can work remotely.
I’m planning two companies to start. One will be my holding company and the other will deliver our first product. If you are interested in being part of a startup and have a passion to build a better tomorrow for everyone, I want you to look into one of three things:
1) If you have a passion for developing great products that can change the world, I’m interested in hearing from you.
2) If you are an investor and want to know more about how we will make money while doing some good I am working on the business plan details and will be glad to share that once the public draft is complete.
3) If you have experience with start-ups, I’m looking for advisers.
Next up … a twisty tale of my domain naming process, or lack thereof.
Thanks for reading!

Update:
I’m encouraging potential employees to check out the careers page, if you like taking risks with an ‘insane’ CEO like me.
1) Crappy story Scott. Why don’t you start actually telling it?
2) I am looking for full time work. My business is officially second, because EI won’t respond to my appeal and I have to maintain my eligibility or face acceleration of current bootstrapping plans.
3) I have two friends interested in helping me during their spare hours. First work session is tentatively scheduled for Jan 2, 2010.
4) I’m in concept stage two of logo work with a professional artist: http://www.aarongearaert.com
5) I’ve filed for a Sole Proprietorship Business licence and have talked with an accountant about the best way to manage my business finances for the next year. I guess I should file my taxes soon. It sure would be nice if http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca would get their act together and call me to discuss my appeal (they are over a month late and I’m not getting paid while this job search continues). Then I’d know how much income I’d have for the year and could get on with doing my taxes.
6) I’m only starting one company. Golden Age Information Architects ~ name pending licensing discussions with the Architectural Institute of BC on Jan 6 or later.
7) I’ve chosen and secured the first domain name for the product.
9) Investors should be approaching me looking to become advisors or I’ll find you after I’ve already got some.
10) Of course they are just waiting to see the plan which I’m soon going to publicize. The “what it is” presentation with a way better name is on my Basecamp site in draft form. If anyone wants to see my basecamp ask me for a temporary pass.
11) I’m in discussions with a promising director/scriptwriter/cameraman for creating the first marketing video which involves me dancing my way into my girlfriends heart and fully sells her on the rest of the plan. She’s my number one advisor and needs to be fully on board. Nina is the best, thanks for all your support! She’s currently on a scouting trip in Nepal.
11) I need a better WordPress theme! Recommendations?
12) I hope this follow up makes sense. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and all those other Holidays that concur this time of year! Love! “Peace out, dudes and dudettes!” ~ Michaelangelo (TMNT)
